Nonprofit Membership Services/Benefits:
- Discounted fees for CRC publications and CRC sponsored events
- Free use of CRC’s Resource Centers in Blackduck and Kelliher. Office space, storage, equipment use, etc.
- Shared office equipment: Power Point Projector, Binding System, Easels, etc.
- Membership in Community Resource Connections (CRC) allows nonprofit directors, or staff members, a seat on the CRC Board of Directors. As a Board Member, individuals have a say in the services offered by CRC and the overall impacts of this nonprofit collaborative.
- Eligibility for posting notices and events on CRC’s website.
- Access to a resource library that contains an array of written and audio resources for nonprofits.
- Inclusion in networking opportunities with member agencies, community groups and other area professionals
- Inclusion in a list serve system that enables quick, easy and effective transmittal of notices, requests and announcements pertaining to member agencies and community events.
- Inclusion in the distribution list of community donations offered to CRC from local residents, businesses, and government offices.
- Access to the Mothers and Children's Nutrition Program (MAC) and the Nutrition Assistance Program for Seniors (NAPS).
Optional joint membership in the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits (MCN). MCN provides:
- State and Federal level advocacy, support and lobbying for the interests of Nonprofits.
- MCN's newsletter: Nonprofit News & Minnesota Grants Alert
- Reduced rates for MCN publications and workshops
- Access to cost-saving programs and endorsed service providers such as Office Max, First Nonprofit Insurance, and others.
Services to the General Public:
- Information, Advocacy & Assistance (Service Access) at three locations in Beltrami County: Bemidji, Blackduck and Kelliher.
- Use of our Resource Center sites by nonprofit community organizations (girl scouts, youth groups, etc.)
- Specialized outreach services for Seniors & for homeless people qualifying for Disability Benefits through Social Security.
